PREPAYMENT

When Is Prepayment Required?

Prepayment may be required for certain trip types to confirm availability and protect drivers. This typically applies to:

  • Out-of-area pickups (outside Bakersfield)
  • Long-distance / intercity trips
  • Courier / delivery requests
  • Hourly services or specialty requests (deposits may apply)

Drivers may confirm trip details again when they arrive to ensure accuracy. If the destination, passengers, luggage/items, or stops change from what was provided to dispatch, the total may increase or dispatch may need to re-confirm the ride.

This protects customers and drivers and helps prevent misunderstandings.

CAPACITY

How Many Passengers Can You Take?

Vehicle capacity depends on the vehicle assigned by dispatch. To comply with safety requirements and traffic laws:

  • Sedans typically accommodate 3–4 passengers
  • Minivans accommodate up to 6 passengers
  • Passenger count must be confirmed at booking
  • Excess luggage or large items must be disclosed in advance

How Can I Get Faster Service?

For fast dispatch, be ready with your exact pickup address, destination, passenger count, and luggage/items. Not knowing your location or destination may delay coordination.

Emergency Notice: If you are in immediate danger or need emergency help, call 911. Please do not request taxi service by calling it an emergency to receive faster service.
